Este projeto de fonte custom chegou a mim com o objetivo de transformar uma linda escrita à mão em uma fonte completa e funcional para ser utilizada na divulgação do novo disco da cantora e compositora Monique Kessous.
Após o primeiro contato com o cliente algumas perguntas sobre o projeto tinham que ser respondidas:
. Quem seria o usuário final da fonte? Que tipo de licença de uso seria utilizada?
. Seria uma fonte all caps? Ou com Maiúsculas e Minúsculas?
. Somente 1 peso/variação? Ou Regular / Bold?
. Quantas linguas o set de caracteres deveria cobrir?
This type project was a commission with the goal of transforming a beautiful handwriting into a fully functional font for marketing purposes, working as a title font for the advertising of a new album by the brazilian singer/songwriter Monique Kessous.
After the first contact with the client some answers had to be gathered for the following questions:
. Who would be the final user of the font? What kind of licensing?
. All caps font? Or Upper & Lower Case?
. Only 1 weight? Or Regular / Bold?
. How many languages should the character set cover?
