THE DAY AFTER
BERLIN 90s
This is a project that aims to represent the the fall of the Wall as not only a political revolution, but a cultural awakening of the society. Berlin is the city that marked this time of reunion and coming together as one,
creating a new culture expressed trough music, dancing, art and fashion.
In the wake of the Wall's fall, an unregulated gray zone of abandoned buildings is hosting Berlin's electronic dance music awakening. Anything seemes possible in those vast post-industrial spaces, which included the former power stations, fabrics and warehouses.
This space is a symbol of freedom and the beginning of a new way of living.
But why THE DAY AFTER?
Because as a designers we are always expected to show aesthetically pretty projects that are pleasant
to look at, but this one proposes a different angle to look at design, showing a seemingly "ugly" space
that evokes strong emotions and what better moment than the techno club in the morning after the party!
