SHANNON JONAS PHOTOGRAPHY
Brand Content
Above, is the logo design for Shannon Jonas Photography (SJP). For this logo design, I placed it onto two different backgrounds to show how the design works with different and contrasting colors.

The design process for this logo first started with deciding what creative direction I wanted to go in. I wanted to go for a more classic, chic, fun, artsy, direction for this assignment. Below will be an example of a previous logo I created for my brand that is classic and fun, but is more on the minimalistic side.

I knew I wanted to bring the characteristic element of a camera into the design as the camera is really important in my work. I wanted to add florals for two reasons: 1) I love flowers and it adds some classic charm to my design; and 2) I am a natural light portrait photographer (I take pictures mainly outdoors) and what is more natural than flowers growing in the ground that mother nature provides us?

I also wanted to add a splash of blue to portray creativity. I choose blue because that is my favorite color.
Last Years Logo (2021)                                                        This Years Logo Design (2022)
Below, is a color grid with the hex codes.
I chose these colors (pastel colors)  to portray a feeling of energy and bubbliness- which is what I describe my personality as. I added a few neutrals to balance everything out.
I stuck with my brands colors and identity when making these mock up business cards. I used two different fonts when creating all my content. The two main fonts I used was Pacifico and Ivy Presto Reg. I used pacifico as it reminded me of my handwriting so it felt natural. I used Ivy Presto (a serif type face) as it seemed classy and bold without it being too overpowering. In my business card design I did outline "Natural Light Photographer" to make it stand out a bit more and to capture my audiences attention.
INSTAGRAM/SNAPCHAT STORY
- Video format & Picture
- I wanted to create a simple post that caught the viewers attention by making the graphic move (zoom in).
POSTER
- I wanted to create a timeless poster and make it have a y2k feel at the same time.
- I wanted it to seem as if someone was going through pictures that is why the photos are all scattered.
- I also placed words on the polaroid to convey what my brand is about "Stylish, Artsy, and Classy"
FACEBOOK/TWITTER POSTS
- I wanted to use the reminder trend that's been circling around social media. My message within these posts are to tell people you should go book.
Social Media Post- Extra
* I made an extra social media post conveying why SJP is special and you should go book. The purpose of SJP is to Make YOU stand out.
- This post can be used on all social media platforms in my opinion (once resized).
