This is an illustration project commissioned by De Toren Private Cellar for a potential
new wine that they would be making. The image I personally illustrated in
photoshop by means of a drawing tablet and a rough brush to give the image a more hand-drawn look and feel. The wine concept itself was yet to be determined but I was asked to replicate the style of their premium wines that are to be sold internationally. With this in mind, I took reference in their existing wines such as The Black Lion, Patronus and Book XVII. These illustrations are a key part of their identity and the branding of their

I then did some variations on the body of the buffalo to give the client an idea of how cluttered things can become working in all the elements requested without the body or neck there for extra space.
These are the final two illustrations that where approved for the final selection as the concept art for the potential new wine. These illustrations where done as a showcase of talent and not to be used for commercial purposes.
