The Crunchie Little Forest

The Crunchie Little Forest
This is a thematic attraction which aims to promote the traditional Singaporean childhood snacks to the current 21st century generation of young children, specifically kindergarten kids to primary school children.
The reason why I've chosen to make a thematic attraction based on childhood snacks of Singaporeans, back in the 90s is because these snacks are currently still existing and I want to be able to create a bond between families. Singaporean parents would have been able to recall their childhood just by looking at these snacks.
Through creating this thematic attraction, both parents and children can build a stronger bond by sharing their differences in the times of their childhood.
Singapore Childhood Snacks
Many Singaporeans of the older generation can relate to or remember their childhood once they look at a certain snack. Foreigners will probably not know of any of the traditional snacks unless it is very popular. The snacks go way back, even earlier than the 90s. Back when Singapore was not as developed as it is, children in the past would play at playgrounds after school or during school holidays. There would be ‘mama’ shops (mini mart shops at the HDB void decks) selling a variety of cheap & delicious snacks.

Inspiration
My thematic attraction is inspired by an ‘Alice in the Wonderland’ themed playground in Singapore, located at Dawn Vista (78A Stratmore Ave).
