"The musical production put on by the College of Arts and Media at Grand Canyon University allows the audience to experience the beloved yellow sponge through a new lens" (GCU News). Our director said this show is about "friendship, genuine, intimate communication with others is one of the one main ingredients that make us human". He also said it would be "loud, obnoxious, and in some ways a little crass;" and the design team made it come all true. So many people worked hard on this show to create a show with "quality, heart, and soul", the way our director wanted. As a props crew member, I was able to put time and consideration into every prop I made for my head designer.
