Inspired from the bush walks around New Zealand with beautiful and fascinating native botanicals reimagined in bright poppy colours is the theme for these series. Just like an unexpected turn, a slopy terrain, a waterfall, and a free-flowing river this series pops out the botanicals in unexpected colour scheme. My drawings express my love and longing for colour and texture seen sparing in this undulating overcast land.
