Recently I started a new daily workflow that excites me in a multitude of ways! In the morning, I give myself about one hour to freely doodle and write down any important messages I want to affirm or remember.

 

Through my process of automatic drawing, a main image is created and then used to make several symmetrical seamless patterns. Each collection in my 2024 surface design portfolio includes one main image plus many patterns to complement it.

 

As a bonus, I screen-recorded the process to make content videos for social media posts. While the process is natural and keeps me creating consistently, I have come to see it as a spiritual practice that I call curious creativity. This is how I speak from the perspective of my inner child. It helps me spread simple messages that even kids can understand, like: GNO HUE U ARE.
