300 SKETCHES
When I first knew it would take 300 sketches, I doubted whether I could draw so many and think of so many things. I try to start by drawing some things in my room and pictures on my phone.
But when I draw on paper, I like to make things realistic rather than simple. And it takes me more time to draw on paper, and the lines I draw are also very light.
So after receiving feedback from my teacher, I started creating on the software. This makes my lines clearer and I can draw quickly with simple lines.
I draw a lot of things, they may be from my home, they may be from photos and they may be from my dreams. I also clearly listed what they are.
I also drew some things that I have been using these days.
Because when I was drawing in the studio, I saw my classmates using pencil sharpeners, so I drew different angles and ways of using pencil sharpeners.
I used the Apple Pen when I was drawing with the software, so I drew a split diagram of the Apple Pen.
When I was in school, it was raining heavily outside and I needed to use an umbrella, so I drew the steps for using an umbrella. And because there is a rainbow after the rain, it reminds me of Skittles.
I also drew a rainbow cloud raining down Skittles.
Because the things I drew were too ordinary, I tried to draw some objects of various shapes.
Scissors of different shapes cut different lines.
Every kind of sword I can think of.
Different styles of keys.
Change the shape of conventional tire and install them on the car.
I try to draw some creatures and blend them.
I extracted some features from each animal and blended them together. And mark which animals it is composed of.

This assignment helped me a lot. At the beginning, I would only think with a fixed mindset and draw some things as they originally looked. But after this exercise I learned not to take things as they are, they can be whatever you want them to be. When designing, you can't let those things limit your ideas. You have to change them to open up your ideas.
