Bauli is an Italian family owned food company of baked goods such as panettone, pandori, colomba and croissants, founded and based in Verona in 1922 by pastry chef Ruggero Bauli.
The company came to us as they wanted to launch a new product: three new biscuits. The new biscuit packagings had a brief which consisted of a specific concept. Two pieces of the biscuit uniting and forming a single scenery.
Two of the packages with their new biscuit design were made and they were missing one, so I decided to design two similar and complementary biscuit shapes, which when joined they would form clouds or thought bubbles. Later named as "Nuvobelle" (Nuvo - from the Italian Word Nuvola, meaning Cloud. Belle - Beautiful). Perfect for being soaked in milk or tea, they are prepared with fresh cream and icing sugar, so yummy.
