Epiphony is a toy that produces light & music. A magical artifact that scares the monsters back into the shadows with it's light & calming children afraid to sleep in the dark with it's lullabye.
His eyes, ears, mouth, & even the song he sings… is reminiscent of a carnival toy of yonder years past. Here you can see a glimpse of his dual nature; a solemn dreamer when upright & a happy camper when laid down.
Since it uses Dynamo energy, there’s no need for batteries: the light lasts as long as the child continues to crank the "nose." After they grow too tired to continue, the glow slowly fades out until they’re back asleep, safe & tight.
Epiphony results from the task of creating light without electricity. The mechanism is inspired by the barrel organ: by combining the musical box to the dynamo Epiphony produces light & sound with just the turn of the “nose.”
