Bodhi tree installation

First Installation for Praj industries, this unique Mix-medium tree installation is set up in the Boardroom lobby at clients’ Corporate headquarters in Hinjewadi, Pune. The brief was to create an installation that was made using sustainable materials and extends the companies image and principal as a self-sufficient, eco friendly and sustainable company.
In the background there is an hand drawn illustrative depiction of a forest that might have existed during chanakya's era. The Mix-medium Peepal tree emerges out of the illustration. The Peepal is an ecosystem in itself and is native to this land. Sitting under the tree is a Symbolic sculpture of Chanakya. He was an Indian teacher, philosopher, economist, jurist and royal advisor. The pose depicts his enlightened state and writing his famous scriptures. The entire piece is done in black and white.
