Spinning Top
La Pirinola es parte de la Colección Cero para la marca Unkal. Está pensada para niños y jóvenes con el propósito de activar mente y cuerpo. Está hecha de madera de nogal.
La Colección Cero fue diseñada por un equipo de cuatro diseñadores industriales, como parte de nuestra propuesta de tesis. Busca activar mente, cuerpo y espíritu, reconectándolas entre sí y con nuestras raíces. Cada producto de la colección fue diseñado pensando en la vida de las personas que habitan comunidades indígenas y aquellas que habitan la ciudad, buscando gustos, malestares y necesidades en común.
Unkal busca el bienestar de las personas en dichas comunidades indígenas, es por eso que cada objeto está pensado para producirse y comercializarse en colaboración con artesanos mayas, de la comunidad El 20 de Noviembre, en Calakmul, Campeche.
The Spinning Top is part of the Cero collection for Unkal brand. It was created for children and young people with the purpose of activating mind and body. It's made of Cedar and Walnut.
Cero collection was designed by team made up of four industrial designers, as part of our thesis. It seeks to activate mind, body and spirit, assisting them to reconnect to each other and to out roots. Each product of the collection was designed with the lives of indigenous people who live in communities and those who live in the city in mind, searching for likes, discomforts and needs that we have in common.
Unkal strives for the wellbeing of people in indigenous communities, and that is why each object is planned to be produced and commercialized in colaboration with craftsmen and women from El 20 de Noviembre community, in Calakmul, Campeche.
