TOPIC : STAY CONNECTED WITH HIM..

BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."(John 15:4).

This verse contains in it the divine secret for Success, productivity and fruitfulness. The whole of the chapter is so loaded with divine insight and Wisdom. If you catch the revelation therein you will never be broke again in your life or be discouraged or depressed in life. Verse 4 says "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me" Hallelujah. The Lord is saying continue in Me, Remain in Me, abide in Me. This word is a covenant word. There are covenant words in the bible and it's not every word that you find in the Bible is a Covenant word but this one "Abide in me' is a Covenant word. Jesus is talking about here a covenant connection with fellowship. You fellowship with Him by love through His word. He says, stay with Me, remain in Me, abide in Me, Hallelujah. He is not saying stay around me but stay in Me, stay connected. Why? "As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me". You can not win successfully in this life without Him.

Stay connected to your source.You are a branch of Jesus, so stay connected to Him. He says in John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing". Glory to God. If you maintain a covenant relationship with Him through fellowship, you will bear much fruit. Hallelujah. When you bear fruit, the Father takes away the wrong stuffs in your life, then you bear More fruit and when you begin to bear more fruit, the Father prunes you more and brings in a covenant relationship with you and you learn to abide and the results will be you bearing Much fruit. Glory to God. There's growth in Christianity. Time comes when you leave the bad for the good and then you leave the good for the best. Hallelujah. Your life is a reflection of the kind of fellowship you have with the Father. The more you fellowship with Him through the Holy Spirit and through His word, the more of Him you become.When you stay connected with the Lord, His anointing will be in your words, in your life and His favour will stay with you and go with you every where you go.

As you stay connected with Him, He cleans you up with His word(John 15:3). Here is something else that might shock you but it's true, God the father has no room for unfruitfulness. He does not tolerate unfruitfulness. That's what the Bible says(John 15:6). So Refuse to be unfruitful in your life. God does not accept it. Jesus said in John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit, and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more." Hallelujah, there are lots of other vine but He is the true vine and God the father is the vinedresser. There's something more in this verse, it shows us that there are different levels of productivity, there is the bearing fruit, and then there's the more fruit and then there's much fruit. If you don't bear fruit He cuts you out. There's no place for those who don't bear fruit. You have to bear fruit in other for the Father to prune you or to make you more effective. You don't stay there praying and saying God make me effective. God has His simple way of making you effective, if you bear fruit, He prunes you and makes you more effective. Glory to God. So get to work and do the word. There's no place for unfruitfulness in the areana of success with God. If you bear fruit, Father God will take off the wrong stuffs in you and make you more productive, He cleans you up and makes you ready to reproduce more. Hallelujah.

7 THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON.

1. THE DIVINE SECRET FOR SUCCESS THROUGH GOD IS STAYING CONNECTED WITH HIM. ABIDE IN HIM.(John 15:4).

2. THERE ARE COVENANT WORDS IN THE SCRIPTURES. 'ABIDE IN ME" IS A COVENANT WORD. HE IS NOT SAYING STAY AROUND ME BUT STAY IN ME, REMAIN IN ME, ABIDE IN ME, LIVE IN ME.(John 15:1-4).

3. STAY IN FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM AS THE BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT OF IT'S OWN. THE MORE YOU FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM THE MORE OF HIM YOU BECOME AND ALSO YOUR LIFE IS A REFLECTION OF THE KIND OF FELLOWSHIP YOU HAVE WITH THE FATHER.(John 15:4).

4. IF YOU STAY IN FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THROUGH HIS WORD, HIS ANOINTING WILL REST UPON YOU PERMANENTLY AND WILL CAUSE YOU TO PROSPER AND BEAR MUCH FRUIT.(John 15:5)

5. GOD THE FATHER HAS A SIMPLE WAY/ PRINCIPLE OF MAKING PEOPLE EFFECTIVE. WHEN YOU BEAR FRUIT, HE PRUNES YOU SO THAT YOU CAN BEAR MORE FRUIT, AND WHEN YOU BEAR MORE FRUIT, HE BRINGS YOU INTO COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM SO YOU CAN BEAR MUCH FRUIT AS YOU HAVE LEARNED TO ABIDE IN HIM.(John 15:4-5).

6. THERE ARE LEVELS OF PRODUCTIVITY WITH THE FATHER. THERE'S THE BEARING FRUIT, THERE IS THE BEARING MORE FRUIT, AND THERE'S THE BEARING MUCH FRUIT.(John 15:2-5, John 15:8)

7. REFUSE TO BE UNFRUITFUL IN YOUR LIFE. GOD DOES NOT TOLERATE UNFRUITFULNES. HE CUTS OFF EVERY BRANCH THAT DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT.(John 15:1-2, John 15:6).

AFFIRMATION.

The Lord is the Light of my salvation and the secret of my success. I remain and stay connected in Him and with Him for He is my source and my supply. The Lord is the source of my life and He is my life, the Lord is the source of my inspiration and He is my inspiration, the Lord is the source of my strength and He is my Strength. In Him I live, move and have my being and therefore I have no fear of what tomorrow brings for Success and my future is secure in Him and guaranteed. Glory to God in Jesus Name. Amen.
