"Once upon a time, in the forest areas of the Ardennes, a poor homebrewer was buried in concern of not affording to finish his brew. He had leftovers from a batch of IPA, and a batch of Tripel, but not the time or coin to finish them. One night he cried himself to sleep. But as he fell asleep a collective of Forest Beer Gnomes, sent from the goddess Arduinna who sympathized with the old farmer. Sneaked into his house. In their magic presence the leftovers grew till they flowed out of the sacking, and in their drunkenness they decided to mix the batches. When the old man woke up the next day, the astonished sight that met him was a strong, elegant abbey ale, full of continental hops."
